A Striped Duster

After a long, long wait, the perfect cool fall weather has finally made its way to Texas. This also means quite a bit of rain every now and then, but I’m willing to compromise… in order to wear more layers. This duster cardigan is a favorite; it pairs well with the majority of my dresses and has a great bold effect for an otherwise simple outfit. Oh, and this tank?! Got it on mega sale only to come home and find out it also reverses to white! Double win!

A Hint of Lace

First things first: I fell in LOVE with this tank top at the end of the summer and continue to obsess over the lace that wraps from the back to the sides.

Second: These pics were taken back in LR, and they’re basically from the summertime. Still have a bit of catching up to do. I would LOVE to find another blogger in Fort Worth to collaborate with. Photographing one’s outfit is not easy, and, frankly, sometimes boring with just me, myself, and I.

The Cozy Pants

Printed soft pants – I think they’re Copper Key? (similar here & here) // Blouse (similar here) // Gianni Bini sandals from Dillard’s (similar here & CRAVING these in white) // Altar’d State gold cuff (similar here) // Forever 21 choker (similar here & here)

Sorry for the lack of blog posts; the move to Fort Worth went smoothly, but the last 2 weeks have been anything but! My first day here, the AC in our apartment went out, and in 100+ degree temps, it was the WORST. And then, getting adjusting to working in a new office has been a little crazy/stressful. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon.

Anywho, I gave in to the cozy-pants craze a month or two ago with this soft, printed pair. To make it work for the office (read: to make it not look like I’m wearing a sack), I paired it with my fave strappy sandals. In fact, I really liked the tucked-in shirt with the high-waisted silhouette (one of my faves).

Hope you have a good Friday & weekend! Find me on Insta or snapchat (lilly.hastings).
