Trending Tuesday

I’ve always been partial to neutrals; they’re effortless and I already have a bright pop of color everywhere I go (ginger probz). When I’m up early before work, I reach first for the neutral pieces in my wardrobe that I know will go together in a pinch. I’ve been seeing a lot of head-to-toe neutrals happening all over the interwebs, so I rounded up a few pieces for this week’s Trending Tuesday PLUS some inspiration from a few of my favorite bloggers.

Lovely Day for Grey

Grey dress (similar with longer sleeves) // Kenneth Cole Reaction booties (similar here and here) // Necklace from Forever 21 (similar) // Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses (exact)

A beautiful, sunny day and I decide to wear every neutral color I have in my closet. But hey, that’s the real me, I guess (evidence: here, here, and here). My love for neutrals knows no bounds. I’ve been trying to wear sunglasses more, especially now that the sun is coming out in full force. But this requires putting in contacts, which risks giving myself itchy, red eyes all day because my eyeballs suck. First world probz.

It’s almost Friday, people! Woot!

First Signs of Spring

Tank from Dillard’s (similar here and LOVE this!) // American Eagle knit cardigan (similar here) // straight-leg cropped trousers (similar here – if you work in an office, these are essential!) // booties from E.Leigh’s (similar here) // Forever 21 necklace (similar)

Outside! 50+ degrees! Greenery! Yesterday’s hint of beautiful, sunny weather was JUST enough to keep us all sane as it rains for the rest of the week. This look represents an outfit formula I tend to go with if I’m feeling slightly uninspired dressing for work. Neutral cropped trousers + bright top + booties. I’ve worn these pants with just about every pair of my booties; they work so well with the hems cuffed (a look I do way too much with jeans & booties as well).

Have a lovely Thursday!
